One person dead, one person with life-threatening injuries following Lakeshore crash

One person has died following a crash in Lakeshore on Tuesday evening.

Around 9:20 p.m., OPP, Lakeshore fire and Essex-Windsor EMS all responded to a crash between an SUV and a tractor trailer on County Road 42 weset of Patillo Road.

According to OPP, the 20-year-old driver of the SUV was pronounced deceased on scene and the driver of the tractor trailer was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

County Road 42 was closed between Lakeshore Road 103 and Patillo Road for the investigation but has since reopened.
