Windsor police are investigating a homicide in west Windsor. According to investigators, three people were involved in a shooting 187 Oak St. around 7 p.m. Wednesday night.
Police say two men were shot, and one - a 30-year-old man - was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 35-year-old man was transported to hospital to be treated for multiple gunshot wounds.
Windsor Regional Hospital officials say the man is in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit.
Windsor police Sgt. Matthew D’Asti says they received many 911 calls after reports of 'multiple' gunshots fired.
After arriving on scene, police immediately placed one man under arrest. He remains in police custody.
Police say there are no public safety concerns and no other suspects are being sought.
Dia Hanan, 32, of Windsor has been charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder.
After obtaining a search warrant, police began examining the shooting scene at the Oak Street home on Thursday morning.
An autopsy on the deceased is scheduled for Friday in London.
