Cineplex Entertainment has launched an experiment in a field just outside of Windsor.
They’ve set up a giant 20-foot high popcorn bag and rigged it with a lightning rod.
Residents can watch to see if lightning strikes and makes the popcorn ‘pop’ through a live webcam.
Officials say the campaign is to prove that entertainment is always possible, even in a thunderstorm.
