The Windsor Spitfires have advanced their win streak to seven after defeating the Erie Otters 7-5 on Saturday.

The Otters opened scoring, leading three nothing in the first six minutes. Goals from Jean-Cristoph Lemieux, Anthony Cristoforo and Liam Greentree quickly tied it up in the first.

In the third, the Otters tied up play 5-5. But, Windsor fought hard as goals from Ethan Belchetz and Greentree secured the win.

The game marked the first OHL win and game for goalie Michael Newlove.

The Spits are now gearing up for a Sunday game as the Niagara IceDogs host.
