Work to clean up the former Grace Hospital site might take another month.
Workers are still contending with the foundation which has proven to be more a little more challenging than first thought.
The project was supposed to be close to completion by this point. However the city engineer says the delay won't add to the $4-million price tag to demolish the building.
Granular material will be used to cover the site until a new use is found for the property.
