Fire crews battle house fires in Essex and Belle River

No one was injured following an overnight house fire in Essex County.

Essex fire crews along with crews from Amherstburg battled a blaze on Nottingham Drive that broke out around midnight.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation and a damage estimate has not been released.

Emergency crews also responded to a house fire in Belle River around 10 p.m. Wednesday.

Fire fighters took a defensive position and had to battle wintry weather while fighting fire.
