Attempted murder charges laid in Tecumseh

Essex County OPP have laid attempted murder charges after a reported disturbance in Tecumseh.

On Thursday just before 3 a.m., police were called to a home on 10th Concession Road in Tecumseh.

Police arrived on scene and launched an investigation. It led to a 51-year-old Tecumseh man being charged with attempt to commit murder, assault with a weapon, intimidation use or threatening use of violence, theft under $5,000 and breach of recognizance.

No further details of the incident were released by police, however the accused and two victims received treatment at hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
