Chatham-Kent police have made an arrest after a man allegedly violated his bail conditions.

Just before 9 p.m. Friday, police were notified of a bail violation complaint in Tilbury.

Police say the man, who is currently on conditions not to speak to his ex-girlfriend because of previous charges, was continuously contacting her.

Responding officers were able to confirm this information with the woman, resulting in grounds for the arrest of the ex-boyfriend.

Officers then attended the man’s address where he was placed under arrest.

A 42-year-old Tilbury man was arrested for failing to comply with his release order.
