Essex-Windsor EMS officials are celebrating the opening of the new base on Dougall Avenue.
After months of planning and construction, the new base at 2620 Dougall Ave. is now operational.
The $2.5-million dollar project features a number of enhancements that will assist in providing quality pre-hospital emergency care to residents.
