Fire officials say a portable air conditioner sparked a blaze at a duplex in Windsor early Tuesday morning.
Damage is estimated at $100,000.
The fire began around 3 a.m. at 520 Caron Avenue. When crews arrived, smoke could be seen coming from the upper floor.
Firefighters managed to get the fire under control quickly and declared the fire out an hour later.
No one was injured in the blaze.
