DETROIT - Authorities say a worker has died in an industrial accident at a Chrysler plant in Detroit.
Detroit Fire Chief Dale Bradley says the 53-year-old man was crushed in a press shortly after 7 a.m. Tuesday at the Jefferson North Assembly Plant and died as a result of his injuries.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles US LLC said in a statement that the employee was killed at the facility's wastewater treatment plant, and that the company is working with local officials on the investigation.
