A 23-year-old Walpole woman was air-lifted to a London hospital with life-threatening injuries after a head-on crash near Wallaceburg.
Emergency crews responded to the two-vehicle collision on Dufferin Avenue between Running Creek and Walnut Drive just before noon on Tuesday.
A 43-year-old Chatham man sustained non life-threatening injuries and was transported to Sydenham District Hospital.
Motorists are asked to avoid this area. The road is expected to be closed until 6 p.m.
