A woman has been arrested after police say a heated fight ended in a stabbing.
Windsor police were called to the 800 block of Dougall Avenue Wednesday morning, around 6 a.m. A caller in the multi-dwelling unit informed police that a woman and man could be heard screaming within the building.
When officers arrived, they found a 34-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man, with the latter suffering from a stab wound to his lower back. The man was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The woman has been charged with assault with a weapon and aggravated assault.
Officials are asking anyone with information to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
