Windsor police are seeking the public’s help in locating a driver involved in a hit and run.
Officers were called to the intersection of Somme Avenue and Rossini Boulevard on Friday morning around 8:20 a.m. for a hit and run.
Police say a 26-year-old was rollerblading along Somme when he heard a car approaching from his left – hitting his hip and knocking him to the ground.
The victim sustained an abrasion to his right cheek. He was later transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspected vehicle is described as a newer model Chevrolet Impala. The vehicle has a number seven in the first set of numbers on the licence plate. Police believe the Impala may have fresh damage to the front end or hood.
Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
