The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor will be transformed into a makeshift basketball court for a Windsor Express game in January.

At a news conference Wednesday, the National Basketball League club announced their regular season game against the London Lightning, on Jan. 15, will take place on the hardwood inside the Colosseum.

"This is another opportunity for us to bring the community together for an event we can all be proud of,” says Express president and CEO, Dartis Willis. “By partnering with Caesars, we get to bring our fans to one of the nicest venues in our region to see their team face our closest rival."

The all age’s event is a first for both Caesars Windsor and the Express.

"Our league is all about entertainment and so is Caesars,” says NBL commissioner, Paul Riley. “We could not be any more excited to be features in a venue that has hosted some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment. It's going to be a special night."

Tickets go on sale Fri, Nov. 29, at 10 a.m.at the Windsor Express office at 720 Ouellette Ave. or at the Caesars Windsor box office. Pricing starts at $22 for adults and $14 for children
