Windsor International Airport workers have rejected a tentative agreement.

Lynn Meston, Public Service Alliance of Canada regional representative, would not say why the workers refused to ratify the deal.

“The union attempted to get the best possible deal from the employer and the majority of the members rejected it,” says Meston.

She says she doesn’t know what the next step is.

“We are considering what our next options are,” says Meston.

The union would not disclose how many of the 20 full-time and part-time workers voted no.

The airport and union reached the tentative deal on June 13.
