Two Ontario truckers are facing charges after police say a racially motivated fight broke out at the Tilbury service station on Highway 401.

The incident took place on June 18 at 2:50 p.m.at the westbound Tilbury ONroute service centre at kilometer marker 59.

Chatham-Kent OPP say a 39-year-old Kingsville man and a 47-year-old Ingersoll man verbally confronted a 29-year-old Brampton man outside the service centre as a result of a traffic dispute from the 401 Highway.

During the dispute, the Brampton man was assaulted, according to police.

Elias Elachkar, 39, has been charged with assault and public incitement of hatred.

David Dykxhoorn, 47, has been charged with public incitement of hatred.
