Essex County OPP say two drivers were charged with stunt driving and a third driver almost hit a police cruiser during radar enforcement on Highway 3.
The incidents took place on Highway 3 near Ellis Road in Lakeshore on Jan. 22 around 8:30 p.m.
Officers saw two vehicles travelling eastbound, which appeared to be speeding faster than the posted limit.
Police say the first vehicle, a maroon Chevrolet, was clocked travelling 63 kilometres above the posted speed limit.
Shea James, 36, of Windsor was charged with stunt driving and driving while under suspension.
The second vehicle, a black Chrysler, was clocked travelling 57 kilometres faster than the posted speed limit.
A 17-year old Leamington man was charged with stunt driving.
Both vehicles were impounded for seven days.
Police say while officers were stopped with the other two vehicles in fully marked police cruisers, along with a tow truck, a gold Toyota travelling eastbound nearly struck one of the police vehicles.
Officers stopped the Toyota and spoke to the driver of the vehicle.
David McDonald, 49, of Amherstburg was charged with driving a motor vehicle with no licence, failing to move over for emergency vehicle and driving a motor vehicle with no currently validated permit.
