Amherstburg police are investigating a suspicious fire at a housing complex on Richmond Street.
Officers were called to the blaze in the 100 block of Richmond on Wednesday afternoon.
The occupant called the fire department after returning home to find her residence smelling of smoke.
Police say the home was later found to have significant fire and smoke damage inside.
There were no injuries and the value of damage has not yet been determined.
