Due to the ongoing Canada Post strike, the Town of Amherstburg has launched a new electronic funds transfer payment option. This method enables direct deposit.

The town said it is still processing its weekly cheque payments, which are available for pickup at Town Hall. Vendors are asked to contact the finance department before going to pick-up your cheque. Identification will be requested.

Cheques can also be couriered upon request.

If you are looking to sign up for the electronic payments, a form can be picked up with the cheques, or you can visit the town’s website.

If you need any further assistance, you are asked to contact Amherstburg’s finance department at 519-736-5401 or at accountspayable@amherstburg.ca.
