Provincial police say they seized about 1,700 marijuana plants worth $1.7-million following a raid at a greenhouse in Kingsville.
Around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday police executed a search warrant for a greenhouse at the 1500 block of Essex County Road 34.
There they found about 1,700 plants and arrested two men from the Toronto area.
A 53-year-old man from Toronto and a 34-year-old Richmond Hill man appeared in Windsor Court Thursday.
Both are facing charges of possession with the purpose of trafficking over three kilograms, and producing a schedule two substance contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Ontario.
