The Windsor office of Canadian Cannabis Clinics is officially open.
They began seeing patients this morning.
Doctors were on site assessing patients for medical cannabis. Patients must get referred by their doctor or specialists.
The new clinic is only a medical office and not a dispensary. There is no marijuana on site. It can only be ordered from licensed producers.
This is the first cannabis clinic in Windsor and Essex County.
There are absolutely no fees for any patients. The appointment is covered by OHIP and counselling services are provided free of charge.
