Windsor police are investigating after a man was seriously injured in an early morning assault.
Officers were called to an apartment located in the 600 block of Mill Street around 6 a.m. Wednesday.
Police say a 26-year-old male was found in an apartment severely beaten, hands bounded and suffering from multiple stab wounds and cuts to his body.
Detectives from the Major Crime Branch are in the process of obtaining video surveillance and a warrant to search an apartment.
Detectives believe this is not a random act.
