A 24-year-old man from Stoney Point, Ont., is facing several impaired driving charges after Leamington OPP pulled him over Wednesday night.
Police say he was driving more than 50 kilometres over the speed limit around 7.p.m. on County Road 34 near County Road 37. The officer reported there was also open alcohol in his black GMC pickup truck.
Eric Scoggins is charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, exceeding 80 milligrams of blood alcohol content, driving a motor vehicle with liquor readily available, stunt driving, and driving a motor vehicle with no currently validated permit.
He will appear in a Leamington court Jan. 17.
