Erie Shores HealthCare announces new Chief of Staff
Erie Shores HealthCare (ESHC) has announced a new Chief of Staff, stepping into the position in the new year.
Dr. Kenneth Ogah has been appointed to the position. According to ESHC, Ogah has over 25 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology with a background in Urogynecology, advanced pelvic surgery and community-based community services.
“Dr. Ogah is a highly respected member of our medical team, known for his patient-centered care, commitment to innovation, and community-focused approach,” said Kristin Kennedy, ESHC’s CEO.
“His deep understanding of the unique needs of our patients and his proven leadership in clinical excellence and mentorship make him an ideal fit to guide us into our next phase of growth.”
Ogah will work alongside Dr. Luther Heys, the current chief of staff, over the next seven weeks as he prepares for the position.
“It is an honour to serve our community in a new capacity,” said Ogah.
“We have an excellent team of professionals at ESHC, and I’m committed to working together to enhance our patient experiences, improve outcomes and continue delivering the quality of care our patients deserve as we plan out ESHC’s next 25 years.”
The board gave its gratitude to Heys for his leadership at ESHC.
Ogah will take the Chief of Staff role on Jan. 28, 2025.
