Essex County OPP have charged the driver after a truck rear-ended a school bus in Lakeshore on Tuesday morning.
The crash occurred on County Road 22 at Maplewood Drive around 8:15 a.m.
Investigators say the driver of the school bus was stopped with the lights activated to pick up a student when it was rear-ended by the truck.
The bus had one student on board at the time. The driver of the bus was not injured, but the student sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
The driver of the transport truck was charged with careless driving.
The scene has since been cleared.
