A Windsor woman wounded in a double-shooting on Canada Day is improving.
The 68-year old woman and her 22-year-old grandson were shot Tuesday at a house in the 1500 block of Benjamin Avenue.
The woman was struck by a stray bullet while sitting in the front room of the residence.
She was taken to hospital with critical injuries, but has since improved and is now listed in fair condition.
Her grandson was grazed by a bullet.
Police don't believe it was a random act.
