Zero impaired charges after Windsor-Amherstburg RIDE program

Windsor police checked 340 drivers in a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere program at several locations across Windsor and Amherstburg.

Members of the Traffic Enforcement Unit conducted the initiative Thursday night.

Police say zero impairments were detected. Officers issued 22 tickets for speeding, driving with a suspended licence, and other violations.
