The discovery of a Second World War ordnance caused some tense moments in the legion hall in Amherstburg.
The military was called in to remove the aircraft modular practice bomb after it was discovered at the legion on Dalhousie Street Wednesday afternoon.
Police evacuated the legion and closed the section of road between Richmond Street and Gore Street as a precaution.
Experts determined it was an aircraft smoke bomb used for tracer training. It was found deactivated.
