A trio of would be pirates have been arrested after Windsor police were alerted to suspicious activity at an east side yacht club.

Officers received a call about suspects at the Windsor Yacht Club located at 9000 Riverside Drive East on Monday around 10:30 p.m.

As police pulled up the lot, they say a man was carrying a cooler towards a nearby vehicle. The man was arrested without incident. Two additional suspects then emerged from vessels and were also arrested. Police say at least one of these vessels was damaged.

A 2006 Chevrolet Uphandler registered to a Hamilton woman was seized. Police say a subsequent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of stolen property.

Ryan Dilney, 28 of Hamilton is charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property, and mischief.

Adamo Romeo Mollica, 21 and a 17-year-old youth, both of Windsor, is charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property, and mischief.
