Woodlsee woman wins big in Brentwood Lottery

The winning tickets have been chosen for the 22nd Brentwood Lottery.
Officials drew the winning names Wednesday night, from a grand total of 24, 641 tickets. Kim Howell of Woodslee won this year’s top prize, a brand new $300,000 house in Amherstburg.
In the vehicle department, three cars were up for grabs. Richard Barrette of Belle River is the winner of Chevrolet Impala. Jennifer Surgent of Windsor won a Ford Taurus, while Gary McDonald of Tecumseh won a Chrysler 300.
Over $300,000 was raised through the lottery, and will now be used to help local residents affected by substance abuse.
