Police say a 41 year old woman has passed away after being airlifted to the London Health Sciences Centre.
The woman was transported by ambulance to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with life threatening injuries after a collision with a car while she was riding on her mobility scooter in Blenheim 1:30 Thursday afternoon.
The incident happened at Chatham Street North and Hannibal Street.
The woman has been identified as Jennie Verbeek of Blenheim.
The 33 year old North Buxton man driving the car was uninjured.
The incident remains under investigation.
