Two people have been charged with aggravated assault after a 39-year-old woman was found injured inside a tent in a backyard.
On Sunday, police were called to a home in the 1600 block of Laing in response to a domestic assault in progress.
One on scene, officers found the alleged victim suffering from serious injuries consistent with a beating or a series of assaults.
She is currently in the Intensive Care Unit.
Jonathan Riley, 25, and Kaiyla Schram, 27, are charged with aggravated assault.
Both suspects will remain in custody until a court appearance Tuesday.
