Windsor police are still searching for the suspect after a woman carrying a bag of money was robbed behind the Lumberjack restaurant Monday morning.

Police say the employee of The Lumberjack Restaurant was robbed as she was getting into her vehicle with a deposit bag from the business. 

It happened around 10:55 a.m. Monday morning in the alley behind 475 Tecumseh Road East.

Police say a man approached her and grabbed for the bag.  During the struggle, the victim was knocked to the ground and kicked several times. She lost her grasp on the bag and the suspect fled.

He was last seen running southbound in the alley behind the restaurant near Howard Avenue. 

The victim suffered minor non-life-threatening injuries including scrapes and abrasions. 

Police are looking for an ethnic light-skinned male, who is about 5'10" with a skinny build.  He was wearing a dark hoodie and dark pants. 

Police are conducting a canvass of the area and a canine ground search.  Members of the Forensic Identification Branch are also gathering evidence. 

Investigators say there might be a video that captured the incident.
