The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says nobody has claimed the winning Lotto 6/49 ticket sold in Windsor last week.
OLG spokesman Tony Bitonti says they’ve heard nothing yet, not even a validation at a lottery terminal.
“It’s not unusual for people to wait for a bit,” says Bitoni. “Plus it's a holiday so folks might be away.”
The OLG says there were three tickets that shared in the 6/49 jackpot from Wednesday’s draw – one of them was in Windsor. The others were sold in Thornhill and Richmond Hill.
Each ticket is worth $5.8 million. That's the biggest winning ticket ever sold in Windsor.
According the the OLG website, the winning numbers were 4, 7, 12, 16, 22 and 24, with bonus number 41.
