A Windsor woman wants to open a pizzeria after winning $100,000.
Polin Potress won the Encore lottery draw on Feb. 1.
“This is a dream come true. I really want to open my own business, a pizzeria, with this good fortune. People in Windsor love their pizza,” Potress said while claiming her prize at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.
It was the first lottery win for Potress, who is celebrating her 15th wedding anniversary with her husband this week.
The winning ticket was purchased at Wing’s Variety Store on Totten Street in Windsor.
