Huron County OPP officers say a 21-year-old Windsor woman had her green Ford Mustang impounded after she was clocked going 50 kilometres over the speed limit.

The woman was pulled over around 7 p.m. on Aug. 21, after police say she was speeding along Dashwood Road near Babylon Line in Huron County. The officer used a RADAR device and confirmed the driver’s speed at 140 km/hour in a 90 km/hour zone.

Erica Thibodeau, 21, has been charged with racing a motor vehicle.

She has a scheduled court appearance in Goderich on Oct. 22. Her driver’s licence was suspended for seven days and the vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
