Windsor Spitfires almost double Guelph Storm, take home win
The Windsor Spitfires defeated the Guelph Storm on Thursday night, almost doubling them with a final score of 9-5.
Spits’ winger Ilya Protas kicked off the scoring as he achieved a hat trick in the first period.
Liam Greentree recorded five points in the game, reaching 200 career OHL points.
Guelph tried to fight back in Windsor as they scored five goals, but they couldn’t get ahead.
The win marks the Spits’ sixth consecutive win. They will head out for games against the Erie Otters and Niagara IceDogs this weekend.
