Windsor skateboarder killed in Vancouver hit-and-run

Police in Vancouver are investigating a fatal hit and run that took the life of a 30-year-old skateboarder.

Ryan Barron, from Windsor, died after an early morning collision on the city's west side.

Police describe the vehicle that hit Barron as an older, silver Mitsubishi car, and say it failed to stay at the scene following the crash.

Residents in the area say the street is popular with both skateboarders and fast drivers.
