A passenger who was reported to be unruly on a flight from Calgary was greeted by Windsor police, when a Westjet flight touched down Tuesday afternoon.

Phil Roberts, director of operations at Windsor Airport says the man refused to stop swearing while the flight was en route to Windsor.

Roberts says the man made some of the other passengers and crew uncomfortable. That's when the flight operations centre was notified.

Roberts says a Windsor police tactical team removed the man and a woman he was travelling with. Once off the plane, officers spoke with the man about his behaviour.

No charges were laid and the man has since been released.
