Windsor police responded to a multi-vehicle crash and a car and motorcycle collision Tuesday evening.

Police say the first incident was a four vehicle collision on Riverside Drive and Drouillard Road around 4:30 p.m.

Two drivers were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say investigation found the accident was caused by a rear-end, chain reaction collision.

One driver involved in the crash is facing a careless driving charge.

“We want to remind the public of the importance of leaving ample space between you and other vehicles,” constable Talya Natyshak told CTV News. “Not only when driving, but when stopped behind other vehicles as well. “

The second collision was between a motorcycle and a sedan at Mill Street and Sandwich Street around 6:45 p.m.

Police say the adult male motorcycle driver as transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the sedan is facing a charge of fail to afford reasonable opportunity to avoid collision while making a left turn.
