Windsor police arrested two people after a handgun and a shotgun were stolen from a residence on Skyline Drive.

Officers were called to the 2900 block of Skyline Drive for a break and enter on Thursday at 2:15 p.m.

Police say a Sig Sauer .45 Pistol, Remington 870  shotgun and ammunition were taken.

The drugs and guns unit received information and found a vehicle in the 4000 block of Ducharme Street. 

Patrol officers stopped the vehicle and the 20-year-old driver and the 17-year-old passenger were arrested. Police seized the guns, ammunition and 185.3 grams of cannabis marijuana from the vehicle.

Latif Kazoun, 20, of Windsor is charged with two counts of possessing a firearm without a licence, breaking and entering and stealing a firearm, two counts of possessing a firearm obtained by Crime and possession of cannabis marijuana for trafficking.

A 17-year-old male of Windsor is charged with two counts of possessing a firearm without a licence, break and enter and stealing a firearm, two counts of possessing a firearm obtained by crime and possession of cannabis marijuana for trafficking.
