Windsor Police are searching for a suspect after a chase that involved a van filled with stolen electronics.
It happened around 3:30 Friday afternoon.
Police were called to Tecumseh Road and Kildare Road for a white cube van that was possibly involved in a break and enter overnight.
Officers observed a van on Howard and Eugenie.
They tried to pull it over but the driver took of northbound on McDougall Avenue.
A pursuit was initiated to the area of Howard and Ottawa but police terminated the chase for public safety reasons.
The van was discovered 5 minutes later in an alley in the 1600 block of Moy Avenue. It had sustain damage and the roof was ripped open by a tree branch.
Electronics were found in the van.
Officers determined the van had been stolen from Rocky Motors on Tecumseh Road.
Windsor police believe they have identified the suspect but are searching for his whereabouts.
