Windsor police are investigating robberies at two different Subway restaurants in the past 24 hours.

The first incident took place at the Subway in the 4600 block of Wyandotte Street East around 8:30 p.m. Police say a white male entered the store and demanded cash.

An unknown quantity of money was turned over and the suspect fled on foot.

The second robbery took place at the Subway in 1300 block of Walker Road around 12:45 a.m. Police say a man entered the store and made off with an unknown amount of cash. In both instances, no weapon was seen or mentioned.

Security footage has led police to believe both robberies were executed by the same suspect.

Police are looking for a 30-year-old man with a beard and a medium build. He was last seen wearing a light beige winter jacket, baggie jeans and black shoes.
