A man is alleged to have hatched a plan to smuggle drugs into the Windsor Jail, but city police cracked this caper.
Police arrested a man they say was intoxicated in public, and breaching numerous court-ordered conditions on Friday.
Officers say they discovered two blue plastic eggs in his possession.
When police opened them they found what they believed was cocaine inside.
The man was taken into custody.
Authorities found four more similar eggs in a toilet bowl in a jail cell on Saturday morning.
Investigators believe the man wanted to be arrested in order to smuggle contraband into the jail.
