Windsor police say they have seized about $60,000 in drugs after an investigation into a grow operation in the city.

On Wednesday, the drugs and guns unit executed a search warrant at about 2:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Grove Avenue.

Officers arrested a 26-year-old man associated to the residence without incident.

Officers seized a quantity of drugs worth over $60,000, along with other property.

Police also seized a rifle, which was stored contrary to regulations.

At about 8:15 p.m., another suspect associated to the address attended Windsor Police Headquarters and was placed under arrest.

In total, police seized 60 cannabis marijuana plants, 65.2 grams of cannabis marijuana, 56.9 grams of psilocybin, $1,455 Canadian currency, $40 US, functioning digital scale, Mossberg long rifle, four prohibited knives, packaging materials, other evidence of grow operation.

Arman Farhangdoust, a 26-year-old man from Windsor, is charged with unlawfully produce cannabis marijuana, possession of cannabis marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, possession of psilocybin for the purpose of trafficking and store firearm contrary to regulations.

Daniel Dosen, 22-year-old man from Windsor, is charged with is charged with unlawfully produce cannabis marijuana, possession of cannabis marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, possession of psilocybin for the purpose of trafficking, store firearm contrary to regulations, possession of firearm without holding a licence, and four counts of possession of a prohibited weapon.
