A 29-year-old Windsor man is facing charges after police seized about $11,420 in crystal methamphetamine and hydromorphone.

Members of the Windsor police drug unit were conducting a drug trafficking investigation on Tuesday.

The investigation centred around a male suspect allegedly dealing methamphetamine in Windsor.

Officers located the man in the 500 block of Aylmer Avenue and at 10 p.m.

He was arrested without incident.

After searching the male, officers located and seized 56grams of crystal meth and 10 hydromorphone capsules. The value of the drugs was approximately $11,420.

The male was also under a recognizance not to possess any unlawful drugs or substances from a previous offence.

Scott Maclellan, 29, from Windsor is charged with possession of crystal methamphetamine for trafficking, three counts of possession of hydromorphone and breach of recognizance.
