Windsor police have arrested a 25-year-old man after a drug trafficking investigation.

The Drug Enforcement Unit and Emergency Services Unit stopped a vehicle in the 1000 block of Albert Road on Jan. 6 as part of the investigation.

A 25-year-old man was placed under arrest without incident. Police seized $2,095 in three bundles as well as .8g of cannabis marijuana after searching him.

Police executed a search warrant at his residence in the 2400 block of Everts.

Officers seized 15.3g of cocaine, 213.9g of cannabis marijuana, 2g of cannabis resin, 1.5 710ml bottles of codeine syrup, 25.9g of methylenedioxy-Methamphetamine (MDMA), and a functioning digital scale with cocaine residue.

Ahmed Abusafeyeh, 25, of Windsor is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking,

possession of cannabis marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, possession of methylenedioxy-methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cannabis marihuana, possession of cannabis resin, unlawful possession of codeine and breach of probation.
