A 55-year-old Windsor man is facing child pornography charges after a month-long police investigation.

In late March, Windsor police received information about a man who allegedly uploaded an image of child sexual abuse using a popular social media application.

An investigation determined the location of this individual to be in the 2600 block of Turner Road.

Members of the Internet Child Exploitation Unit executed a search warrant at the address and arrested the suspect on scene on Friday at 10 a.m.

ICE officers seized computer equipment and other media from the residence.

Timothy Gaffan, 55, is charged with two counts of possession of child pornography and one count of accessing child pornography.

Anyone with information in relation to child pornography or exploitation is encouraged to contact Windsor Police at 519-258-6111, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477 (TIPS), online at www.catchcrooks.com, or Submit a Tip on Facebook.
