Windsor high school records one of best literacy scores in Ontario

Windsor's St. Joseph's Catholic High School is one of five English secondary schools in the province recognized for making the most improvement in Grade 9 math and literacy scores.
Overall the Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board saw improvements in Grade 9 academic and applied math courses in the education quality assessment office tests.
Gains were also made at all schools for the literacy tests.
Similarly, the Greater Essex County District School Board found a majority of their students achieved the provincial standard in math and most students who wrote the literacy test were successful in their first attempt.
